Studio photography gives us full control of lighting needed to focus on you and not have to worry about the weather, people watching, changing light, or bugs! Shooting in a studio may seem intimidating at first. However, the predictability of a controlled environment gives us time to take as many photos as we need until we start warming up to the camera. Typically about 3 min. A studio also provides the added convenience of switching scenes quickly. For example, we can shoot with a colored backdrop and 3 min later transport you to the sea with a seascape background.

The Highest Level of Professional Equipment
My camera equipment is state-of-the-art. Everything from the camera body itself, to my variety of lenses, tripods, and stands. This allows me to maneuver in the studio to photograph you from any perspective, high or low, close up or at a distance.
Control Over Lighting
You should never underestimate the importance of lighting as it relates to portrait photography. I’ll go so far as to say with an absence of proper lighting, the quality of photography suffers, no matter how good the photographer is. In my studio, I offer the highest quality equipment and can adjust it at a moment’s notice to photograph the perfect portrait.
Because light is so precise in a studio, we typically have anywhere from one to eight lights, reflectors, or modifiers. It all depends on what each particular light does and the mood we’re going for. For example, the main key light will be the brightest. From there we’ll add fill lights, hair lights, or background lighting. Your photos will be tethered to a laptop or iPad and you’ll have the final say on which images you like so that you have the best photos you’ve ever taken.
